Recent coffee shop visits
- Du Jour, Denville NJ. 3/10. Espresso tasted burnt and it was an automatic espresso machine. The barista also failed to dampen the espresso after it was grinded.
Recent running & mileage
- Current 2024 mileage = 1,069 (9/6/24)
- Last week was 12
- Felt a small tweak in my achilles / lower calf so decided to ease up for a few days and RICE
- This week (9/9 - 9/17) aiming for ~30 miles over 5 runs. Want to monitor my tweak closely but recent increase in stretching and RICE methods have helped. I am contemplating adding in a small workout on Wednesday pending Tuesdays run feels fine.
- Moving forward ill stick to 28-35 miles a week while incorporating 4 lifts per week
- This may drop just slightly while Maggie and I move.
TV suggestions
- The Outsider, (HBO) Max, 1 season based on a Stephen King book.
- Slow Horses, Apple TV, season 4 comes out next month and I cannot wait!
